THEN COME AND STUDY WITH US:
AN INTERIOR DESIGN SCHOOL THAT DOES THINGS DIFFERENTLY
We Don't Just Teach You
We Nurture You.
We Develop You.
We Transform You.
No more hit and miss designing. CONFIDENTLY pull together colours, fabrics and furniture to create 'Pinterest-worthy' design schemes. Spend your days expressing your CREATIVITY.
You no longer have to be a slave to someone else's timetable, or salary structure! You'll have the FREEDOM to design not just beautiful interiors, but to also design your HAPPINESS.
A few years ago I was in your shoes right now. Wondering about whether to take the leap into interior design, and if it would work out for me.
I eventually chose a course, but unfortunately for me, it wasn't quite the experience I'd hoped for...
Now, I'm a pretty clever woman (even if I do say so myself) but design was an entirely new discipline to me, and once I started studying I soon found myself needing a bit of support.
I needed access to someone who could just answer my questions and explain things in more detail than an online video alone could.
...I was often unable to get hold of my tutor, which meant that I ended up struggling alone, or asking questions in an unmanned Facebook group, which was a bit like the blind leading the blind if I'm honest! Waiting weeks for my marks was demotivating, as I never knew whether I was on the right track.
At times it felt like I was in a diploma factory; just another number on their production line!
And when I eventually *did* qualify, I came out feeling like I'd been dropped off the edge of a cliff. There was no support to help me to forge a career using my new qualification. I had a diploma in my hand that *said* I was in interior designer, but I certainly didn't feel like one.
As a professional educator in my (then) day job, I knew this was NO WAY to deliver a high quality learning experience.
I knew that there was a better way to develop people, to provide a fully rounded educational experience so that students graduate - not just with a qualification in their hand - but with real, practical knowledge and the confidence to head out into the workforce.

Asking questions like:
But what if I can't do it?
But what if I find out I don't like it?
But what if I fail?
And on... and on...
And do you know what? My answer might surprise you because it's...
I've got answers!
This is a proper UK qualification. It is awarded by AIM Awards and accredited by the UK government's qualification and exams department, Ofqual.
Aim Awards' registration number with Ofqual is RN5322.
The Home Design School's Centre Number is 61101.
If a training provider cannot give you these details, they are not offering official UK qualifications- be warned!
Even some of the UK's biggest design schools are only offering their own "made up" course. Please check them out before signing up!
All of the modules are assessed through project work and other evidence based activities.
Your certificate will say:
"Level 3 Diploma in Interior Design Skills".
No mention is made that you studied online.
You will need to set aside around 30 hours per module to complete the course.
Most students study one module every month, so around 10 months is usual.
However, it is possible to complete the diploma in a much shorter time frame if you really put your mind to it.
Equally, you can take up to two years to complete the course if you need longer.
For the technical drawing module, you will need to get some draughting (drawing) equipment. You can choose where to buy these, but for ease, I have put together this >>KIT LIST<< and you can simply click on the links and buy from amazon.
Sure! You can indeed get this qualification cheaper elsewhere (although not all courses are accredited- beware!).
But what you don't get with the other design schools is the care and attention that you get with us here at The Home Design School. Not only do you get the core curriculum (which all schools offer) but you also get an engaged community, led by an interior design professional, and over 40 hours of face to face (online) support. You really don't get that anywhere else.
There will always be those who look for the cheapest option, but others understand that quality costs.
This payment is an investment in your future. Doing it the right way... well, that's worth paying a little more for, isn't it?
Make sure you read our testimonials below to see why our offering is so much more than just a qualification.
You can start the course at any time!
However, the early bird bonuses are only valid until the countdown timer reaches zero.
Once you click on the 'apply now' button above, you will be taken through to a registration page.
Simply enter your details on the registration page, and then you will be taken to a checkout page, where you can make your payment.
You will then be contacted by The Home Design School's team to ask for a copy of your identification (passport or photographic driving licence). Verifying ID is a requirement of all UK qualifications.
Once we have verified your ID, you will be granted access to the classroom, and sent an invitation to our facebook community, and you can start your studies straight away!

Enrolling in this course has been the catalyst to change in my life. I have always had a keen interest in interiors and, as a child, had dreams of being an interior designer but never thought it possible. However, this course, and in particular Kate, has given me the confidence to start to realise my childhood dream.
The course content may be very similar to others available online but what is unique about it is Kate. She is always available to give support, advice and most of all, motivation.
Having made the decision to change careers and start my own design business, I have recently joined the Interior Designers Hub. The hub not only provides a store of excellent ‘how to’ guides but also a place to share experiences and learnings with others that are building their interior design businesses. However, once again, it’s Kate’s input that is the key feature. Her coaching and counselling and invaluable.
If you are considering starting to study with the Home Design School or joining the Hub, I would wholeheartedly recommend that you ‘go for it!’
Kate is a great mentor and tutor. She is always on hand to answer any questions I have, and she is there to support me whenever I need it. Doing my diploma and setting up my business with Kate's support is the best money I've ever spent!
Kate creates a lovely atmosphere: it's a friendly and supportive community where all feel welcome. I call it my interiors family!
I have fallen in love with this course! Signing up for the diploma was the best decision I made.
From the beginning of my diploma, Kate has been so supportive and kind. The course is structured in a way that you do not feel overwhelmed. Kate is a really great mentor who always takes time to go through any challenges you experience, and offers constructive feedback on assignments. I have really enjoyed this journey, and would recommend this program to anyone.
I'd been searching for an interior design course which suits me for years. In fact, I'd enrolled in e-learning courses before, but I found them lacking the support necessary to help me stay committed to the end.
After speaking with Kate in person I enrolled in the Home Design School's diploma and I am *so* glad I did. The experience is unlike any of the other e-learning experiences I have had before. Like most e-learning, the modules are presented in video format, and they are very easy to follow..
But what is unique about this course is that Kate is very hands on with both one to one and group support. She provides feedback that is encouraging, fair and positive.
I am looking forward to completing my diploma very soon; the first time I have felt motivated to stay the course.
Signing up to the diploma and becoming a part of The Home Design School community has been a life changing experience for me. Kate's unique teaching skills, and the support and dedication that she gives throughout the course is invaluable. I have gained so much more confidence than I ever thought possible.
Kate has created a wonderful, unique community where everyone supports and encourages each other. I would thoroughly recommend this course to anyone looking for a more personalised one to one coaching experience.
Due to Kate’s continuous motivation and belief in me. I am now in the processes of setting up my own interior design business: something which I have only ever dreamed about.
I am amazed at how much I’ve learned in such a small amount of time. Not only have I gained a vast amount of knowledge and information, I’ve also thoroughly enjoyed the experience.
Kate’s friendly manner, and clear and concise delivery means you are instantly at ease with the course content.
There's also support through a closed Facebook group which I have been extremely grateful for. Those of you who are sceptical about the use of social media - don’t be! The Facebook group enables course attendees to share their work, post questions along the way and provide encouragement and suggestions to ‘class mates’.
Join our group of aspiring interior designers, and start your journey to a whole new career.
